Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) -hanke on eurooppalainen aloite, jota koordinoi Save the Children Italy ja jota toteuttavat Euroopan tasolla Save the Children Europe ja SOS Children’s Villages International. Hanke kokoaa yhteen 18 organisaatiota 11 maasta vahvistamaan lasten osallistumista päätöksentekoon sekä kansallisella että EU:n tasolla. Hanke rahoitetaan CERV-ohjelmasta.
Yksi hankkeen keskeisistä tuloksista on Eurooppalainen osallistavan lasten osallistumisen verkosto, joka yhdistää kansalliset lasten osallistumisverkostot eri puolilla Eurooppaa edistäen yhteistyötä ja tiedon jakamista, jotta lasten ja nuorten osallistumisesta voidaan tehdä osallistavaa ja merkityksellistä.
Meidän konsortiumimme
ICPN-hankkeen konsortio koostuu 18 kumppaniorganisaatiosta, jotka työskentelevät yhdessä 11 Euroopan maassa. Tämä kuvastaa kollektiivista ja koordinoitua lähestymistapaa, jossa useat toimijat osallistuvat yhteisen tavoitteen saavuttamiseen.
Nämä kumppanit toimivat sekä Euroopan että kansallisella tasolla, mikä mahdollistaa konsortiolle työn yhdistämisen erilaisissa toimintaympäristöissä. Osallistuminen Euroopan tasolla viittaa laajempaan, maiden rajat ylittävään näkökulmaan, kun taas kansallisen tason työ osoittaa sitoutumista tiettyjen maiden toimintaympäristöihin.
Konsortio kokoaa yhteen organisaatioita, jotka yhdistävät politiikkaosaamisen, osallisuuteen liittyvän asiantuntemuksen sekä suoran työn lasten ja nuorten kanssa.
Kaiken kaikkiaan konsortio voidaan nähdä yhteistyörakenteena, joka yhdistää erilaisia asiantuntemuksen muotoja ja toiminnan tasoja eri puolilla Eurooppaa, tuoden yhteen toisiaan täydentäviä rooleja yhden yhteisen hankekehyksen sisällä.

Across Europe
Through this country based partnership, the Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) project supports children and young people to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives at local, national, and European level. It creates opportunities for their voices to be heard and to shape the policies and actions that impact them.
National partners work closely with children in their communities, ensuring that participation is grounded in their lived realities and responsive to diverse needs and experiences. At the same time, European level partners help connect learning across countries, amplify children’s voices, and contribute to policy influence and systems change at EU level.
By bringing together action at different levels, the project strengthens collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual learning across borders. It also helps ensure that approaches to participation are more inclusive, consistent, and impactful across Europe.
Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive child participation ecosystem that enables children to engage meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives today and in the future.
