El proyecto Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) es una iniciativa europea coordinada por Save the Children Italy e implementada a nivel europeo por Save the Children Europe y SOS Children’s Villages International. Reúne a 18 organizaciones de 11 países para fortalecer la participación de los niños y niñas en la toma de decisiones tanto a nivel nacional como de la UE. El proyecto está financiado por el programa CERV.
Uno de los principales resultados del proyecto es la Red Europea sobre Participación Infantil Inclusiva, que conecta las redes nacionales de participación infantil de toda Europa, fomentando la colaboración y el aprendizaje compartido para promover una participación inclusiva y significativa de los niños, niñas y jóvenes.
Nuestro consorcio
El consorcio del proyecto ICPN está formado por 18 organizaciones socias que trabajan conjuntamente en 11 países de Europa. Esto refleja un enfoque colectivo y coordinado, en el que múltiples actores contribuyen a un objetivo común.
Estos socios trabajan tanto a nivel europeo como nacional, lo que permite al consorcio conectar el trabajo realizado en diferentes contextos. La participación a nivel europeo sugiere una perspectiva más amplia y transnacional, mientras que el trabajo a nivel nacional indica una implicación dentro de contextos nacionales específicos.
El consorcio reúne a organizaciones que combinan experiencia en políticas, conocimientos sobre inclusión y trabajo directo con niños, niñas y jóvenes.
En conjunto, el consorcio puede entenderse como una estructura de colaboración que conecta diferentes tipos de experiencia y niveles de acción en toda Europa, reuniendo funciones complementarias dentro de un único marco de proyecto.
Working Together 
Across Europe
Through this country based partnership, the Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) project supports children and young people to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives at local, national, and European level. It creates opportunities for their voices to be heard and to shape the policies and actions that impact them.
National partners work closely with children in their communities, ensuring that participation is grounded in their lived realities and responsive to diverse needs and experiences. At the same time, European level partners help connect learning across countries, amplify children’s voices, and contribute to policy influence and systems change at EU level.
By bringing together action at different levels, the project strengthens collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual learning across borders. It also helps ensure that approaches to participation are more inclusive, consistent, and impactful across Europe.
Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive child participation ecosystem that enables children to engage meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives today and in the future.
