Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN)-projektet er et europæisk initiativ, der koordineres af Save the Children Italy og gennemføres på europæisk niveau af Save the Children Europe og SOS Children’s Villages International. Det samler 18 organisationer fra 11 lande for at styrke børns deltagelse i beslutningstagning på både nationalt niveau og EU-niveau. Projektet finansieres af CERV-programmet.
Et vigtigt resultat af projektet er European Network on Inclusive Child Participation, som forbinder nationale netværk for børnedeltagelse i hele Europa og fremmer samarbejde og vidensdeling for at styrke en inkluderende og meningsfuld deltagelse af børn og unge.
Vores konsortium
ICPN-projektets konsortium består af 18 partnerorganisationer, der arbejder sammen i 11 lande i Europa. Dette afspejler en kollektiv og koordineret tilgang, hvor flere aktører bidrager til et fælles mål.
Disse partnere arbejder både på europæisk og nationalt niveau, hvilket gør det muligt for konsortiet at forbinde arbejdet på tværs af forskellige kontekster. Engagement på europæisk niveau antyder et bredere, tværnationalt perspektiv, mens arbejdet på nationalt niveau viser engagement inden for specifikke nationale sammenhænge.
Konsortiet samler organisationer, der kombinerer politisk ekspertise, viden om inklusion og direkte arbejde med børn og unge.
Overordnet kan konsortiet forstås som en samarbejdsstruktur, der forbinder forskellige former for ekspertise og handlingsniveauer på tværs af Europa, og som samler komplementære roller inden for en fælles projektramme.

Across Europe
Through this country based partnership, the Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) project supports children and young people to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives at local, national, and European level. It creates opportunities for their voices to be heard and to shape the policies and actions that impact them.
National partners work closely with children in their communities, ensuring that participation is grounded in their lived realities and responsive to diverse needs and experiences. At the same time, European level partners help connect learning across countries, amplify children’s voices, and contribute to policy influence and systems change at EU level.
By bringing together action at different levels, the project strengthens collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual learning across borders. It also helps ensure that approaches to participation are more inclusive, consistent, and impactful across Europe.
Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive child participation ecosystem that enables children to engage meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives today and in the future.
