Riguardo
Il progetto Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) è un’iniziativa europea coordinata da Save the Children Italy e attuata a livello europeo da Save the Children Europe e SOS Children’s Villages International. Riunisce 18 organizzazioni in 11 Paesi per rafforzare la partecipazione dei bambini e delle bambine ai processi decisionali sia a livello nazionale che dell’UE. Il progetto è finanziato dal programma CERV.
Uno dei principali risultati del progetto è la Rete europea per la partecipazione inclusiva dei bambini, che collega le reti nazionali per la partecipazione dei bambini in tutta Europa, promuovendo la collaborazione e la condivisione di conoscenze per favorire una partecipazione inclusiva e significativa dei bambini, delle bambine e dei giovani.
Il nostro consorzio
Il consorzio del progetto ICPN è composto da 18 organizzazioni partner che collaborano in 11 Paesi europei. Ciò riflette un approccio collettivo e coordinato, in cui diversi attori contribuiscono a un obiettivo comune.
Questi partner operano sia a livello europeo che nazionale, consentendo al consorzio di collegare il lavoro svolto in diversi contesti. Il coinvolgimento a livello europeo suggerisce una prospettiva più ampia e transnazionale, mentre il lavoro a livello nazionale indica un impegno all’interno di specifici contesti nazionali.
Il consorzio riunisce organizzazioni che combinano competenze in materia di politiche, conoscenze sull’inclusione e lavoro diretto con bambini e giovani.
Nel complesso, il consorzio può essere inteso come una struttura collaborativa che collega diversi tipi di competenze e livelli di azione in tutta Europa, riunendo ruoli complementari all’interno di un unico quadro progettuale.
Working Together 
Across Europe
Through this country based partnership, the Inclusive Child Participation Networks (ICPN) project supports children and young people to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives at local, national, and European level. It creates opportunities for their voices to be heard and to shape the policies and actions that impact them.
National partners work closely with children in their communities, ensuring that participation is grounded in their lived realities and responsive to diverse needs and experiences. At the same time, European level partners help connect learning across countries, amplify children’s voices, and contribute to policy influence and systems change at EU level.
By bringing together action at different levels, the project strengthens collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual learning across borders. It also helps ensure that approaches to participation are more inclusive, consistent, and impactful across Europe.
Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive child participation ecosystem that enables children to engage meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives today and in the future.

It provides a structured process where youth explore a policy question, develop recommendations, and present them directly to authorities, who commit to implementing and reporting back on the outcomes.
