Two days of learning, exchange, and inspiration on inclusive child participation The First European Fair on Child Participation took place in Brussels on 17 and 18 November 2025, bringing together 68 participants, including 13 children, from across Europe. Organized by Save the Children Europe and SOS Children’s Villages International under the ICPN project, the event created a dynamic space for sharing practices, building connections, and promoting meaningful child participation in decision making. Children played a central role throughout the Fair, contributing to panels, leading sessions, and sharing their experiences directly with professionals and policymakers. The discussions highlighted the importance of creating inclusive, safe, and sustainable structures that enable children’s voices to shape policies and programmes across Europe.
